He can control, bend, and use fire at his will. The only kink in his power, however, is that it tends to almost directly reflect on his angry emotions. When Aden is calm, he can control his powers easily. Most of his flesh is already covered by tattoos and he's only sixteen. Aden has an averagely colored skin tone of a caucasian - not quite pale, but definitely not tanned. He has dark eyes and dark, shaggy hair. He likes to wear that general punky style of clothing - ripped jeans, messy hair, studs. It's hard to get him to open up to someone, but when he does, he latches on to them forever. Around people he's comfortable with he can be a huge goofball, and extremely caring. Around those he doesn't know, he's quiet and callous. Because of his broodish exterior, it's often hard for him to make friends. Usually, the ones dragged in to his life are put there through his much more extroverted sister, Delilah. He's had problems with controlling his anger since he started attending Primrose. It wasn't his fault that all these rich, snooty people got on his nerves. They were annoying! Originally the two wanted a full house of little rascals, but once they found out that they could barely keep up with Delilah, they figured their life was pretty perfect the way it was. Rorik and Yvonne never really had to work for their wealth - both came from rich families, which set them up only to expand their wealth. Delilah and Aden were the same. Their parents didn't want them to grow up spoiled, so they made the two work for what they got. They needed to be taught the value of a dollar, in Rorik's opinion. Otherwise it would come back to bite them in the ass later in life. While the family was very busy, they always made it a point to come home to dinner together and share that time. After starting at Primrose, Aden never truly valued that family time they had shared. In the community of those with 'powers' and whatnot, Aden and Delilah were somewhat late bloomers. It wasn't until the two were fourteen until they started showing signs of abnormalcy. Aden couldn't even remember what had triggered his anger, some kid picking on Delilah or something of the sort, and suddenly, his arms caught on fire. He remembered freaking out and Delilah panicking, before she shot water out of her hands - effectively putting Aden out. Their parents were called to the school, there was a whole big ordeal about the whole thing, and a week later the twins were being shipped off to the prestigious Primrose Academy in Louisiana. Aden and Delilah were a little put off by the sudden change of everything in their life. Their parents stayed in Maine, but promised to visit often - and of course Skype was a thing. They still had dinner together, though now it was once a week through video chat, and it wasn't quite the same. A year or so passed and the two adjusted well. The twins are seventeen now. While Delilah socially bloomed and quickly became one with the so-called 'popular' crowd (Aden only calls it 'popular' out of spite. He loves his sister, but thinks she's far above the hooligans she hangs out with), meanwhile Aden stuck to the shadows. During his tenure at Primrose he only has a small handful of friends to show for it. His lack of friends could be attributed to a few things. His dangerous power. His generally volatile nature. Standoffish personality. Take your pick. Though he likes to make people think he has a heart of steel and no soul, there is one person that has managed to get under his skin. Evangeline Charbonneau. Aden won't admit it, but he's had a crush on his sister's roommate from the day he started attending Primrose. The only problem is he got kicked out of Primrose, got sentenced to Monroeville time, and now is stuck in the Phalanx Home - after four months without speaking to the love of his life. He's trying to figure out how to make things work, but he's stumbling a lot along the way. the role player |
